Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 1,517 more cases and 12 new deaths, Sept. 29

Los Angeles County public health officials reported 1,517 more cases of the coronavirus since Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,454,542 as of Thursday, Sept 29.

Officials reported 12 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Wednesday for a total of 33,598 deaths since tracking began.

There were 28 more hospitalizations since Wednesday, bringing the number of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 499.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 19,748,708 doses administered.
