Applicant Sought for Lewis County Public Health Advisory Board

Sep. 19—The Lewis County Board of Health is seeking applications for the Lewis County Public Health & Social Services Advisory Board.

The eleven-member volunteer board gives recommendations to the Board of Health on a variety of community health, environmental health and social services issues. Meetings are held monthly for 60 minutes. Terms last for three years.

There is an open position for an individual who has experience regarding homeless housing services. All positions must be filled by Lewis County residents.

Upon review of applications, membership recommendations will be made by the current advisory board and presented to the Lewis CountyBoard of Health for final approval.

The deadline to apply is 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30.
