Face masks will be required on the streetcars due to Federal Transit Administration and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regulations.

City officials also announced the release of a new app: The Ride Sun Metro App. The app, available for download on both Android and IOS systems, provides information on bus routes, schedules and mobile ticket options.

The second public event will be a free stress management class, hosted by members from Live Active El Paso.

The event starts at 6 p.m. in the El Paso Museum of History.

The class will be followed by a free sound meditation event, also located in the museum.
