The Barnstable Housing Authority is responsible for the management and operation of its local public housing programs and various voucher programs. Barnstable Housing Authority has been providing low income subsidized housing since 1948 and currently offers around 1040 units of subsidized housing for eligible low-income families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities including Captain Eldridge House, Aunt Sarah's, Career House, Adams Court, Stage Coach Residences, Colony House Apartments, and Barnstable and Hyannis House.
