Boxes of cake mix recalled over salmonella fears

Nov. 06--Varieties of Duncan Hines cake mix have been recalled over a possibility of salmonella contamination, according to the the Food and Drug Administration.
The FDA says salmonella was found in a sample of Duncan Hines Classic White cake mix, which might be linked to an outbreak.
Conagra is voluntarily recalling these varieties made at the same time, all 15.25-ounce boxes with a use-by date in March 2019:
--Duncan Hines Classic White Cake, UPC 644209307500
--Duncan Hines Classic Yellow Cake, UPC 644209307494
--Duncan Hines Classic Butter Golden Cake, UPC 644209307593
--Duncan Hines Signature Confetti Cake, UPC 644209414550

Symptoms of salmonella include diarrhea, fever and stomach cramps, about 12 to 72 hours after exposure.
