Boil advisory issued in Arcanum

Oct. 21--A boil advisory has been issued for a portion of Arcanum.

A water line was hit and damaged during construction work on West North Street.

The boil advisory is in effect until at least Wednesday morning for the following areas:

* 200 and 300 block of North West Street

* 300 block of N. Locust Street

* All of Washington Street

* All of Franklin Street

When boiling water, fill your pot with water and heat it until you see bubbles reach the top. Once you notice a rolling boil, let it continue boiling for one minute before you turn off the heat and let the water cool. Store the water by pouring it into a clean container with a cover, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
