Huron County Public Health to move next week

Norwalk Reflector - 7/11/2019

Jul. 11--Huron County Public Health (HCPH) is moving to a new location.

In preparation for the move, the health district will offer limited services starting at 3 p.m.July 18 and will begin offering full services to the public at its new office, located at 28 Executive Drive in Norwalk, on Friday, July 19t for normal business hours.

The new facility, though smaller in size, will allow HCPH to better utilize the available space to meet the needs of the agency and to provide essential health services to Huron County residents. The new location is on the south side of the city near Fisher-Titus Medical Center and other local government and social service agencies in the community, making it more assessable for the majority of the county's residents.

HCPH anticipates a smooth transition to the new facility with as little disruption to services as possible. The agency will offer limited services starting at 3 p.m.July 18 at which time agency phones will be unavailable. HCPH's phone numbers will remain the same.

HCPH will continue to provide full public health services at its current location until the move. Huron County residents are encouraged to follow HCPH on social media @HuronCoHealth and at www.huroncohealth.com for updates and information about the move.
